I spent two weeks drawing in Marrakech. I took an easel, two large stretched canvases (1m x 1.2m and 1m x .8m), hard pastels and the wherewithal to make up a casein fixative. I bought local fabric in Marrakech, chosen to reflect the colours of the place; earthy reds and soft greens.
